The proof sheet below is pre-rendered. JavaScript enables live transformation and the three-step copy fallback.

Filters published preview subsets by declared glyph coverage only. It does not change the site language. Your text stays in memory and never enters a font request.

Cursive characters, not a font download

This tool maps supported text to Unicode Script and Bold Script characters. The copied result travels as text; it is not a downloadable typeface, an installed font, or an image.

Calligraphy is a different product intent when it requires real typefaces, spacing controls, logo composition, or image export. This page does not claim to be a calligraphy renderer.

Use cursive text with a readable fallback

Short names, greetings, and captions are easier to review than long paragraphs. Keep the original wording available when accessibility or exact search matching matters.

Italic variants stay in a related, collapsed group because slanted text is useful but is not the primary cursive result.

Review letters, numbers, and punctuation separately

Unicode Script does not provide a matching styled code point for every possible character. Numbers, punctuation, emoji, and non-Latin scripts may remain unchanged.

That pass-through behavior exposes coverage gaps instead of deleting or fabricating characters.

Plain answers

Frequently asked questions

Does this download a cursive font?

No. It creates Unicode text that you can copy and paste. A published WOFF2 subset may load for the visual preview, but the copied value does not contain or embed that font.

Is cursive text the same as calligraphy?

No. This page produces Unicode Script characters. Calligraphy tools often use real fonts and image or logo controls, which are outside this release.

Why are the letters not connected everywhere?

Unicode stores the styled characters, while the destination chooses how to render them. Some system fonts show less connection or substitute a fallback glyph.

Why are italic styles collapsed?

They are related slanted alternatives, not the primary Script results. Keeping them separate makes the cursive intent and ordering explicit.
